"We were built for a world we stopped living in." Modern environments strip out the sensory conditions the body evolved for; Dorian builds them back — in land, water, and sound. One thesis, three mediums.

Long bio — ≈180 words

Dorian Dégagé is a multidisciplinary artist, ecological-infrastructure builder, and founder of Noon Systems Corporation, a Texas public-benefit corporation. Raised in Mexico and first-generation American, he came up far from privilege — and traces his sensibility to the markets he walked to as a boy, where he first watched the natural order of how resources move through a community.

He works in sound and in land at once. His music — avant-garde recordings made in Grammy-winning studios, record deals, nights built around the local scene — is built the way he builds ground: from live, organic source run through technology, blended until the natural and the engineered are indistinguishable. Through Noon, he designs and builds water-conscious landscapes, watershed catchments, native ground, and the operator software that runs them — alongside The Noon Source, an open research library on water, soil, and culture.

His work, in English and Spanish, treats land, water, and culture as one system: infrastructure built to give something back, and to last. He is based in San Antonio, Texas.
