§Selected Works

Selected Works.

A cross-disciplinary practice where land, water, and culture are one medium — from monumental water works to native ground, writing, and sound.

Statement

Taught how to think, not what.

My education has been ambient — the finer influences that teach you not what to think but how. I came up through sound: avant-garde music, recordings made in Grammy-winning studios, record deals, nights built around the local scene. It was a first language — a way of expressing a feeling I couldn't yet name.

The ecological work is where that feeling found its form. Land, water, and culture as one medium; infrastructure that gives something back. Music was the segue; this is the fuller expression of the same impulse — now built into the ground to last. The aim was never to be seen. It's to become part of the fabric that everything else gets woven into.

Lineage

One impulse, many rooms.

From sound to land, the work has always chased the same thing — making a place, or a moment, give something back. Today it runs through Noon Systems Corporation, a Texas public-benefit corporation, and The Noon Source, an open library on water, land, and culture.

A full record — recordings, events, projects, and writing — accompanies the catalogue on request.
